Today’s midday gainer is Workday Inc (NYSE:WDAY). The tech company shot up +13.52%, reaching $83.23, thanks to a better-than-expected Q3 earning report. Billionaire Julian Robertson holds 142,000 shares (1.76% of his fund), acquired for $58.87 each. Steve Mandel who owns 3.5 million shares (1.27% of his holdings), purchased for $59.69.

Following Workday, Inc. is YPF SA (NYSE:YPF). It is up +8.06%, reaching $28.81, after the Argentine government struck a deal with Repsol for its expropriation of the energy company last year. Last quarter, George Soros bought 3.9 million shares (0.87% of his fund) of the Argentine firm at $17.87 per asset.
