Tip “T.I.” Harris Reveals He Had 500 Comic Books Stolen, As He Aces Marvel-DC Character Quiz on PodcastOne’s Fired Up with Brad Jenkins

LOS ANGELES (September 17, 2019) – Tip “T.I.” Harris stopped by Fired Up with Brad Jenkins this week to promote his new, chart-topping podcast, expediTIously. During the interview, Tip discussed criminal justice, the current slate of Democratic candidates, and more. During a game of “Rapid Fired Up,” Jenkins quizzed him on his comic character knowledge, as one of the stars in Marvel’s Ant-Man films. Tip revealed his own history with comics, and surprised Brad with an, arguably, perfect score.

Jenkins: “Since you are in the Marvel cinematic universe…Do you have knowledge of Marvel and comic books? How deep does it go?”

Tip: “I mean, listen. I probably had like one summer that I collected comic books.”

Jenkins: “What kind?”

Tip t.i harris answer

Tip: “Man, all kinds. X-Men, Wolverine, Spiderman – I wasn’t really into Superman that much – what else did I have? I think I had some Incredible Hulk. But anyway, so over that summer – I think it might have been ‘91 or ’92 – over that summer, I collected a bunch of collectibles, cards, comics and what not. Probably had – I got up to, maybe, about 500… So, I went back after the summer, spent the summer in New York collecting comics, came back to Atlanta and someone had broken into my house and stole my comic books. So, I said, ‘Man, f*ck that. I’m not starting over. Totally not starting over.’ That was it for me.”

Jenkins: “We’ve got to find that person who stole T.I.’s comic books.”

Tip “T.I.” Harris hosts the expediTIously podcast, also available on Apple Podcasts and PodcastOne.
