Shares of Chipotle Mexican Grill were up roughly 5% during trading hours after the Wall Street Journal reported that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention could close its investigation regarding the E.coli outbreak as soon as Monday. 53 people were affected by the outbreak, 20 of whom were hospitalized. Shares of Chipotle have dropped more than 30% since news of the outbreak was first reported in October 2015.
