I found this great video of Ray Dalio, CEO of BridgeWater Associates, on Distressed Volatility. The video is from 2009, but is recently discovered. Dalio speaks about Bridgewater’s investment style and the larger hedge fund in general.
ZeroHedge also posted a recent internal doc from Bridgewater. The document was from 2008 but updated as of October 31st, 2011.
The document is titled “How the Economic Machine Works and How It Is Reflected Now”. Dalio focuses on three Big Forces: trend line productivity growth, the long-term debt cycle, and the business/market cycle.
