Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has improved shipping times for the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and Retina iMac just in time for the holiday season. According to the Apple online store, the 16GB and 64GB iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus smartphones in all colors are available. The phones are available to ship in three to five business days.

Apple iPhone 6 128GB versions are available to ship

All the 128GB versions are available to ship seven to ten days. This suggests there is a shortage of phones with higher storage. Certain iPhone models are also available for in-store pickup at some Apple retail locations but it is still advised a customer check the stock before they actually make a purchase.

Last month the stock check staggered a few times but now Apple is showing significant progress for iPhone supply and demand. When the devices launched late last summer, phone supply really fell. Launch day preorders went fast as many 4.7 inch models showing 7 to 10 ship-by dates with allotted 5.5 inch iPhone 6 Plus phablet phones sold out.

When preorders kicked off, a large amount of customers created congestion issues with Apple and partner resellers. The issue got severe and prompted Apple to take reservations for later processing instead of completing real-time transactions. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s storefront also went down during preorder.

Apple iPhone sales

Market research firm Kantar Worldpanel recently took a look at Apple iPhone sales from the last three months up to October 31 and discovered smartphone sales grew nearly in all markets, making it comparable to Android phones which grew in some markets and declined in others. Kantar explained in a report, “The top reasons shoppers gave for choosing the iPhone 6 were 4G capability (51%), screen size (49%) and design (45%). Every time Apple releases a new iPhone the share of sales made through its own stores significantly increases, and this occasion was no different.”

It was added 31% of all iPhone 6 sales in Britain were sold directly through Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL).
