iPhone 5 Cases Are Already Popping Up At AT&T

Thanks to the pending arrival of the iPhone 5, AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) is gearing up for a big season ahead and according to BGR’s sources, the company has recently received some protective cases made specifically for the iPhone 5. The source also sent the website images of the purported cases, one of which is only partially protective, and still needs a screen protector.

BGR also reminded us that last year, the same kind of report came out. Last year, they posted images of iPhone 4s cases, which turned out to be true. Unfortunately, people were disappointed that what they hoped to be the iPhone 5 turned out to be the iPhone 4S.

Fortunately, I’m pretty sure that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will release the iPhone 5. Whether the rumors we’ve been hearing about them turn out to be true these days, will remain to be seen. The rumors we’ve been hearing about them lately aren’t the most exciting. We’ve heard the iPhone 5 will feature a slightly longer screen, 4G LTE technology, and a smaller dock connector. We do know that the sixth generation Apple smartphone will come with iOS 6. This new operating system is perhaps the most exciting thing about the upcoming iPhone.

iOS 6 features Apple’s first in-house maps application, Siri personal assistant, Facebook integration, Passbook virtual wallet, share photo streams, and over 200 new features that will make this operating system well worth the wait.

The iPhone 5 is rumored to arrive on September 12, and the actual device is rumored to go on sale on September 21.

We hope the next iPhone is well worth the wait and we’re really hoping that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) surprises us with a phone that has features we haven’t heard about. Since  the company has remained mum about the whole scenario, even in the midst of all these rumors, it’s a real possibility. We have just one more week until Apple officially unveils their new phone.
