About a month ahead of its unveiling, Samsung’s Galaxy S7 along with its dual-edge sibling S7 Edge has reached India for testing and evaluation purposes. India’s import and export tracking website Zauba has listed Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930R4) and S7 Edge (SM-G935R4), reports Napidroid. The phones reached from South Korea to New Delhi on January 20, according to the listing.

The listing confirms Galaxy S7 display size

Zauba listings have always been a reliable source in confirming key features of Samsung’s upcoming handsets. The Korean electronics giant has global development and testing centers in India. The listings confirmed recent rumors and leaks that the S7 has a 5.1-inch display and the curved edge variant sports a 5.5-inch screen. Just a few days ago, the Exynos-powered Galaxy S7 was spotted on AnTuTu benchmark with a 5.1-inch Quad HD display.

According to the listings, two units of each phone were imported by Samsung India, and each phone is valued at $351.57. Note that these units are samples for testing and evaluation. They do not reflect the market price that Samsung would charge for these handsets. Both screens are expected to boast of 1440 x 2560 display resolution. Both devices will likely run Android Marshmallow right out of the box.

Other rumored features include a good 4GB RAM, 12-megapixel main camera and 5MP front snapper. It is also expected to bring back the much-awaited microSD card slot. Recent reports indicate that the world’s largest smartphone maker has figured out how to combine its ultra-fast native storage with microSD cards. Both the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be powered by Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 depending on the region of release.

There have also been rumors about a bigger Galaxy S7 Edge+. It is still unclear whether Samsung will launch a third variant of its flagship phone. We can expect Samsung to unveil the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge at an Unpacked event on February 21st ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
