There have already been tons and tons of leaks about Samsung Galaxy S10’s design and features. But there was little clarity on its pricing, storage options, accessories, and availability. Now fresh leaks have revealed the Galaxy S10 price, storage, and a bunch of other details.

Samsung fans expect the company to give the S10 a design makeover to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its most successful smartphone lineup. The Korean company is not going to disappoint them, if leaks are to be believed.

Galaxy S10 to debut on February 20

A verified source familiar with Samsung’s plans told Gizmodo UK that the company would launch three different variants of Galaxy S10 on February 20 next year, a few days before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) kicks off in Barcelona. Samsung has traditionally unveiled new Galaxy S handsets a day before the MWC event. The next year’s MWC will be held between February 25-28.

According to Gizmodo UK, pre-orders will go live on February 20 itself. The phones will go on sale on March 8th, 2019. By comparison, this year’s Galaxy S9 was unveiled on February 25th and went on sale on March 16th.

As previous leaks have indicated, Samsung is developing the new flagship under the codename Beyond. There will be three devices: a 5.8-inch Galaxy S10 Lite with a flat display, a 6.1-inch Galaxy S10 with curved Super AMOLED screen, and a larger Galaxy S10 Plus with 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display.

Galaxy S10 price in the UK

Talking about the Galaxy S10 price, the source revealed that the Galaxy S10 Lite is going to cost £699 ($881). The flat-screen phone will be available with 128GB storage.

The regular Galaxy S10 price will be £799 ($1,007) for the 128GB version and £999 ($1,260) for the 512GB variant.

The 6.4-inch Galaxy S10 Plus will be available in 128GB, 512GB, and 1TB internal storage. The 128GB version would cost £899 ($1,134), the 512GB model will set you back by £1,099 ($1,386), while the 1TB variant is going to cost a staggering £1,399 ($1,765).

All the prices above are for the UK market. These prices are unlikely to be converted to the USD. Instead, Samsung could transfer them over in the US. For instance, the Galaxy S10 Lite could start at $699, the Galaxy S10 price could start at $799 while the Galaxy S10 Plus could cost $899 for the base model.

Samsung and other smartphone vendors have been bumping up the prices of their flagship models to boost their revenues as sales growth has slowed in recent years. The Korean company is introducing the lower-specced Galaxy S10 Lite to compete with the likes of OnePlus 6T and Xiaomi’s Pocophone.

Rumored Galaxy S10 specs

According to the rumor mill, Samsung was also working on a fourth variant with six cameras and 5G technology. It’s unclear whether that variant will find its way onto the store shelves.

According to reliable Chinese tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S10 Lite would feature one front camera and two lenses on the rear. The regular S10 would sport a selfie camera and three rear cameras. The Galaxy S10 Plus would get two front-facing cameras and three cameras on the back.

The source told Gizmodo UK that all three variants of Galaxy S10 will have an Infinity-O display, which Samsung showed off recently. Instead of adopting the notch, the Infinity-O screen will have “punch hole” style cutouts to accommodate the front camera while offering a nearly bezel-less design.

Samsung’s upcoming flagship will have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which is faster, better, and more secure than the optical fingerprint sensor used in devices like OnePlus 6T. It will use ultrasound waves to map the ridges of your finger in 3D. The S10 won’t have an iris scanner, and there is little clarity at this point on the facial recognition technology.

The Galaxy S10 will also have a power share technology that will enable it to charge other devices wirelessly, similar to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The phone is expected to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, though some reports have suggested otherwise.

All the three variants of Galaxy S10 will run Samsung’s new One UI on top of Android Pie. The devices will run Samsung’s Exynos 9820 or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 depending on the region. The US market will get the Snapdragon variant.

Samsung working on multiple accessories for Galaxy S10

A report from SamMobile suggests the Korean company will launch a bunch of accessories such as cases, wireless chargers, and VR headsets to go with the new phones. It would launch an updated version of its Silicone Case in white, blue, black, and navy colors. The S-View Flip Cover will also arrive for the new devices in white, black, and yellow colors.

Samsung will also bring the Rugged Protective Stand in black, white, silver, and blue colors. The company will also launch an S10-compatible version of the LED Wallet Cover in black, white, and green colors. It will also introduce a new Leather Cover in navy and black colors.

The company is also expected to launch new wireless chargers with the Galaxy S10. An update to the Gear VR headset is also said to be in the works. The new VR headset will reportedly be called Galaxy VR.
