IFM Investments Limited (OTCMKTS:CTCLY), Martin Marietta Materials Inc. (NYSE:MLM) and Intrexon Corp. (NYSE:XON) reached market close well in the green this Tuesday. Seventy Seven Energy Inc. (NYSE:SSE), Oasis Petroleum Inc. (NYSE:OAS) and Bill Barrett Corporation (NYSE:BBG) ended the day in the red.

Intrexon Climbs on Price Target Increase

IFM Investments Limited rallied +38.46% today, ending the day priced at $0.18. The stock is still down -76.62% year-to-date and is trading close to its 52-week low of $0.10. Marc Lasry has held a position in the firm across several quarters.

Martin Marietta Materials Inc. gained +15.17% thanks to strong fourth quarter earnings results. The stock, a Richard Chilton holding, is up +24.4% in 2015.

Intrexon Corp. ended the day at $34.27%, making a +13.63% gain after having its price target increased to $34.00. A synthetic biology company, Intrexon has climbed more than +50% over the past six months – giving billionaire shareholders Dan Loeb and David Einhorn a boost.

Seventy Seven Energy Continues Downward Trend

Seventy Seven Energy tumbled -10.37% today and has lost -78.54% since splitting from Chesapeake Energy last June. Carl Icahn ended up with SSE shares as a result of the spinoff.

Oasis Petroleum dipped -10.02%, putting its one-year performance at -60.91%. The exploration and production company has been in John Paulson’s portfolio since the third quarter of 2013, and as of the third quarter of 2014, he holds 9.89 million OAS shares.

Bill Barrett Corporation fell -8.94% today, ending the day priced at $11.31. George Soros picked up 53,000 BBG shares during the third quarter of 2014.
