Tech retail giant Best Buy Co Inc (NYSE:BBY) just unveiled it’s ad for Black Friday, and this year iPad fans may be in luck. This year’s list of deals include a $75 discount of the iPad Mini 3 and $100 discount on the iPad Air 2.
Other retailers offering iPad discounts this year include Sam’s Club and Target. The former offers a discount on the older iPad Air an the latter offers store gift cards with select iPad purchases.
A look at the Apple iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 deals
Best Buy’s iPad Air 2 deal is a doorbuster that starts at 5:00 pm on Thanksgiving Day when the store opens. Fortunately, the same deal will also be available all day online. This offer is valid on all iPad Air 2 models. The retailer will also extend the iPad Mini 3 discount through November 29th. The 16GB iPad Mini 3 will retail for $324.99. There will also be an additional sale one week prior to Black Friday with a discount on the first iPad Air, however shoppers will have to wait until November 20th to see the actual discount.
Other discounts on tablets
The Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad won’t be the only tablet computer available on discount this holiday season. Best Buy will also sell Surface 2 models on a discount of either $100 or $150 off. There will also be discounts on Android tablets including 7-inch Asus MeMo Pad with Intel processor for $99.99, the 10.5 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S with 32GB of storage for $449.99, and the 8.4 inch Galaxy Tab Pro for $199.99. That is $200 less than the current price on Samsung’s website.
The closer we get to Thanksgiving weekend, the more we will here about great deals on popular tech and electronics. But there will be many more and even better deals as we edge closer to the Christmas season. Best Buy’s decision to offer Black Friday deals all day online on Thanksgiving is good for business and customers.
