Apple Announces New Apple TV With 1080p Video Support For $99

Beside the new LTE iPad launch, Apple Inc’s (AAPL) CEO Tim Cook  today during the company’s press conference in San Francisco has also announced the new Apple TV that is capable of playing HD content.

The new Apple TV with streamlined interface supports 1080p video,  iTunes Match, Photo Stream and the TV shows on the new Apple TV will be available the day after they air live.

The more good news is that the new Apple TV has the same price of $99 and will be available on March 16th, with pre-orders starting today.
