H/T to Canadian Value for this fantastic find.

This is the 2005 letter from Harry Markopolos to the SEC pointing out issues with Madoff Investments (run by Bernie Maddoff).

The production of this letter has resulted on mounds of praise being pored on Mr Markopolos for identifying a ponzi scheme. One Congressman even called Mr. Markopolos a Greek hero during his testimony on February 4, 2009.

Markopolos authored a best-seller on the topic titled, No One Would Listen.
