Final Fantasy 7‘s remake has been confirmed! The highly-anticipated video game is set to arrive on PlayStation 4. The high-definition game will be based on a more modern look for the cloud. The remake’s look is similar to the look of Dissidia Final Fantasy or Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

Square Enix shared the official game trailer during the press conference at the E3 expo. The new game excited a lot of fans who have been waiting for nearly two decades for the remake. After the long wait and numerous rumors, the game everyone was anticipating has finally arrived. The game will most likely be released as a digital download and not a full physical release. The game will branch out to other platforms after the PS4 release.
At the E3 event Sony also unveiled The Last Guardian. The remake is set to arrive next year. The game was described as the following:
“In a strange and mystical land, a young boy discovers a mysterious creature with which he forms a deep, unbreakable bond. The unlikely pair must rely on each other to journey through towering, treacherous ruins filled with unknown dangers.”

In the game, the boy commands his companion to help him access new areas of interest and solve puzzles. The size and power of his pet griffin Trico help him advance within the game. The game’s director, Fumito Ueda, attended the showcase and received many cheers from the audience right after the official reveal trailer. The game will arrive on PlayStation 4 in 2016.
E3 brought a lot of game introductions and trailers for upcoming releases. Other notable games showcased at this year’s big event include an expanded version of Destiny for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Earlier, Microsoft announced plans to make Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One.
