I have a question for the audience. This website is devoted to investing/finance/economics. I try to stay as apolitical as possible. I try to express my opinions in an honest manner while trying not to get up in party politics. I also realize that while the vast majority of readers live in America, a good percent live abroad and might not care about our elections

That being said the upcoming elections are big. There are serious economic issues that have to be dealt with within the next few years. Balancing the budget, reforming the military, Medicare, Medicaid budgets and dealing with pension and state liabilites are very important. Healthcare, financial reform, developing alternate energy are also very important economic issues. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan which have to date been extremely expensive could be a big issue if American troops In addition, taxes and a reform of the tax code and possible tax increases to balance the budget.

I am conflicted over whether I should do some live election coverage on the site and my twitter account (I doubt I can hold myself back on twitter but I want to know if readers are interested in endless tweets). I am taking an up down yes or no vote on the topic. You can vote under the polls on the sidebar of Value Walk. Please answer as soon as possible.
