Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is just a day away from starting Google I/O, but that does not stop recent leaked screenshots of the upcoming Android version.  Reddit user Doopl was the first one to learn about images, which were found in Google’s Chromium Tracker, but has been removed now.

Lot revealed, nothing official

The screenshots show some new features like L in the status bar as well as a bell icon that according to website Android Police could be related to the new “limited notifications” settings. The new version could come with new pop-up notifications.

Another screenshot shows Chrome window moving on the screen and a portion is attached to the Android navigation buttons. Chrome would sport rounded overflow buttons instead of square ones that were seen in Android.

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is expected to shift to Android run-time or ART with the latest update. According to XDA developers, Android OS will become more efficient once it starts using ART. Nothing can be said specifically until Google officially announces anything about the L version of its Android.

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) usually gives teasers of its upcoming projects through screenshots imperceptibly showing the device without mentioning anything. Few days before releasing the Android 4.3 KitKat, the company released an image showing 4:30 pm indicator. Similarly, prior to the launch of Android 4.4 KitKat a screenshot with 4:40 am was shown. At present, the image Nexus 5 shows 5:00 pm mark on it.

Innovations expected at I/O from Google

Google Nexus line is expected to be overtaken by Android Silver program, which will offer a more integrated Android approach. Google Watch is another gadget expected to release at the conference offering. The company is anticipated to showcase range of gadgets like touching on TVs, cars, smartwatches, and thermostats in the upcoming I/O conference, which is expected to be high on innovation. App developers are also expecting more outlets for their apps and higher pays. Google outpaces any other UI developer, when it comes to powering the mobile devices, but lags behind Apple in monetization. Previously, Google Play Store chief Jamie Rosenberg stated that Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is making efforts to add payment options such as PayPal for app store purchases.
