Who does Donald Trump hate more – Blacks or women? Please take your time.

Strong cases can be made that he hates Blacks even more than he hates women, or vice versa.

My question is timely because of the slur he hurled at New York State Attorney General Letitia James at two political rallies he held late last month. He called her “A.G. Letitia Peekaboo James.” While he was obviously attempting to insult her, what in hell was he trying to say?

Q2 2022 hedge fund letters, conferences and more

The prevalent theory is that it was a veiled insult since peekaboo rhymes with a longtime racial slur beginning with the letter “j.” And if you’re a senior citizen, you might remember “peekaboo” blouses and dresses. Maybe in Trump’s warped mind, that was the refence he was implying.

Where does all this hostility towards women and Blacks come from? In the Trump family’s case, it was passed from father to son for at least two generations.

Frederick Trump, Donald’s grandfather, struck it rich around the turn of the twentieth century during the Alaska goldrush, by setting up and operating a chain of whorehouses. He left a small fortune to his son, Fred, who used it to build a real estate empire across Brooklyn and Queens.

Back in the day, nearly all real estate developers in New York – and in most of the rest of the country as well – refused to rent apartments to Black families. The notable exception was the slumlords of Harlem, Bedford-Stuyvesant, and other primarily Black New York neighborhoods – a practice which was mirrored in the rest of the nation.

In the 1960’s and 1970’s, local and federal laws were passed which basically outlawed racial discrimination in housing. But the Trumps were very stubborn holdouts. Young Donald, who worked for his father while in his twenties, had no compunctions about adhering to his dad’s strict rule: No Blacks allowed.

When he went off on his own, first in gambling cassinos and then in real estate development in New York, he employed very few Blacks in a city where about one quarter of the population was Black.

In fact, he continued this hiring policy even after he was elected president by setting a modern-day record by appointing only one Black cabinet member – the amazingly unqualified Dr. Ben Carson, a famed brain surgeon, as the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

Trump's Attitude Toward Women

Now, let’s shift gears and talk about Trump’s attitude toward women. Now if you’re thinking about the salacious Access-Hollywood audiotape that became widely available during the last weeks of the 2016 presidential campaign, then you know the story as well as I do about Trump’s career of sexually attacking women, and his pride in those exploits.

Interestingly, there is no record of his ever attacking any Black women. Perhaps they just weren’t his type.

Despite his high self-regard, he evidently spent a small fortune paying women to sleep with him, including prostitutes, porn stars, and at least one former Playboy bunny.

I’ll leave it up to psychiatrists to conclude how much of a role his grandfather’s career in prostitution induced Trump’s own assaults on women and his predilection to engage the services of prostitutes.

Clearly, in Trump’s mind, Blacks and women are inferior to white males. It follows, then, that being a Black woman would be the American equivalent of the “untouchable” caste of India.

So, one can only imagine the humiliation that he has to be feeling about the civil case that Letitia James has brought against him.

But even that pales against what he must be anticipating will happen perhaps in November, when Georgia’s Fulton County District Attorney, Fani Wallis presents the case against Donald Trump for trying to interfere with Georgia’s vote count in the 2020 presidential election.

This trial may have more going on than a three-ring circus, what with such possible defendants as South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, Trump’s former Chief-of Staff Mark Meadows. America’s mayor and Trump’s former personal lawyer, Rudy Guiliani, and Trump, himself.

But most humiliating of all, Fani Willis happens to be a Black woman. To be prosecuted almost simultaneously by two Black women might be Trump’s worst nightmare – even worse than losing the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden.

Who does Trump hate more – Blacks or women? Your guess is as good as mine. In the near future Trump will likely find himself the defendant in several additional lawsuits. But on the bright side, probably none of them will be prosecuted by Black women.
