Rockstar Games just announced plans to update fixes for Grand Theft Auto Online soon. On early Friday morning, the company said the latest title update for GTA Online is now live for PlayStation 3. The game maker added that the update is for XBox 360.

Rockstar’s blog post explained, “Thank you everyone for continuing to bear with us… we’re aware that a variety of technical difficulties have made it difficult to get access and that the experience has been a bit less than smooth for many of you who jumped in straight away. For PlayStation 3 users, a PlayStation Network server issue was detected that was limiting the amount of possible concurrent users. This was preventing most players from accessing GTA Online altogether.”
The status page was recently updated to include a list of problems like unavailable servers, session time-outs, frozen screens, and mission load failures. The company claims they’re working around the clock to get the situation fixed as soon as possible. They are desperate to get everything fixed before the weekend begins as many players will join the game and test the limit. However, there could potentially be a benefit if the connections are spread evenly throughout the day rather than spiking the servers after school or work.
