The national house price index tracked by the U.S. Federal Housing Finance Agency increased 0.6% in June to a reading of 203.4 (1991=100). The increase in June follows a 0.9% increase in May, and brings the year over year gains in the index to 7.7%.
The monthly seasonally adjusted purchase-only index for the U.S. has increased for the last 17 consecutive months.
The FHFA HPI is now roughly the same level as it was in February 2005.
