Docker has raised about $62 million of a $75 million late-stage funding round, per an SEC filing. The company, which provides a software container platform, is valued at roughly $1.3 billion with the new financing.
[REITs]Since the beginning of 2015, 1,533 VC investors have participated in at least one of the 1,403 late-stage deals conducted in the US software industry, per the PitchBook Platform. Of those deals, 45.5% have gone to companies based in California, followed by New York (13.3%) and Massachusetts (8.9%).
