WeWork and SoftBank have formed a joint venture to open co-working spaces across Japan. The companies will each own half of the venture, which will be called WeWork Japan and is set to launch its first location in Tokyo in early 2018.

The deal reconnects two of the most well-known players in the tech community after they previously linked up in March, when SoftBank invested $300 million in WeWork as the first chunk of a round that’s set to total more than $3 billion. The initial tranche of that investment came from SoftBank itself, while the remainder is reportedly coming via its $93 billion Vision Fund, for which SoftBank held a first close in May.
