2013 marks the 75th Anniversary of Samsung. Samsung, founded in 1938 by Byung-Chull Lee started producing black and white TVs in 1970. In 1974, Samsung began production of Washing Machines and Refrigerators follwed by Computers in 1989. in 1991 Samsung started development of Mobile Phone Handsets.
