Apple has been struggling a bit in recent weeks with builds of its iOS. They’ve just been “buggy” at best. From the potential accidental bricking of your device running iOS to just poor performance, iPhone users just aren’t accustomed to this from the company that has such a high customer loyalty rate.

Apple releases iOS 9.3.2 beta, build 13F51a

Apple is allowing developers to download this new build immediately in the hope that it will then find beta testers in order to get a new version out to the public as quick as they can. In just a bit over two weeks since the public release of iOS 9.3 (the third substantial update of iOS 9) Apple is still having problems that customers and the company is not used to having.

iOS 9.3.1 was deemed necessary only a week after the release of iOS 9.3 when users found their devices freezing and crashing Safari and other applications after users did nothing more than simply tapping a web link. Those other apps that were most commonly affected were Mail, and Messages. The crashing was generally limited to users who long-pressed links in Safari.

A number of mac-devoted sites tried to reproduce these crashes over a wide range of devices without success, but, nonetheless, Apple responded with a newer iOS.

It’s difficult to say what the new iOS will bring when released to the public but it’s largely believed that this beta version of 9.3.2 won’t be introducing new features but rather just a number of fixes for bugs that have presumably been found recently.

For the first time in many iPhone users’ lives, it seems like the “check engine” light, a fixture of American made cars of the 70s and 80s, is constantly on these days. And while my mom always avoided going to the mechanic when the light came on, Apple is at least coming to you.
