US home prices rise 5.8 percent in November, fastest rate since July 2014 [CHARTS]

The Standard & Poor’s/Case-Schiller home price index increased by 5.8% year-over-year in November. Prices increased by 0.9% from October to November on a seasonally adjusted basis. Low mortgage rates and a recovering labor market helped to push prices up to their highest rate since July 2014. Home prices in Portland, San Francisco, Dallas, and Denver hit all-time highs.
