2015 VC Activity Across Key European Regions Break Down Charts by PitchBook
We wrap up our 2015 in Review series by taking a look at several major regions across Europe: U.K./Ireland; GSA, France/Benelux and the Nordics. Europe saw a decline of VC activity in many areas when compared to 2014, though capital invested was up across the board. Highlights from our datagraphics include: £3.4 billion of capital invested within the U.K. and Ireland, and €3.6 billion invested within the GSA region; France/Benelux saw more than 370 deals completed during 2015; and Spotify led the way in the Nordics with the largest deal of the year.
