Now that the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C have officially launched in stores, buzz for the iPhone 6 is continuing to flourish. We’ve already seen numerous concept design ideas for the iPhone 6 and now we have another one.

iPhone 6 Unveiled In A New Concept

This design was found on DeviantArt and shows an iPhone that looks similar to the original iPad. It has a five inch display, and has the same features you would find from the iPhone. The one thing that’s not featured in this concept design is the fingerprint reader. It also shows iOS 7, which is the current iOS for iPhone 5C. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will release a new iOS with the future iPhone 6.

Gotta Be Mobile explained, “Rumors have been floating around, suggesting that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is at least testing a large-screen iPhone, a device that could look to compete with Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930)’s Galaxy Note line and help to expand the company’s iPhone lineup. And while we won’t see a large screen iPhone this year, it’s possible that we could see one arrive next year with the iPhone 6 as Apple typically goes big with its numbered iPhone models.”

The sky is the limit for iPhone 6

Right now, it’s still too early for rumors or purported images to surface on the Internet, so we really have no idea what to expect from the next iPhone. We’ve seen numerous ideas of what Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) could do next with their phone, like turning the phone into a phablet or giving the phone a wraparound display. We were nicely surprised with some of the enhancements Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) made with the iPhone 5S, so the stars are the limit with the iPhone 6, which isn’t likely is to arrive for at least another year.

With serious competition from the likes of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) and HTC Corp (TPE:2498), Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) knows they need to kick it up a notch. And it looks like they are doing just that.
