Jean-Marie Eveillard was the Senior Vice President, Senior Adviser, and Portfolio Manager at First Eagle Investment Management, LLC. From 1993 to 2004, he served as Lead Portfolio Manager for all of firm’s global value strategies. Previously, Mr. Eveillard served as an Analyst of the SoGen International Fund, and in 1979, he was appointed Portfolio Manager of the fund. He started his career at Société Générale before relocating to the United States in 1968. In 2001, Mr. Eveillard was named Morningstar’s International Manager of the Year and in 2003, he received a lifetime achievement award from Morningstar for building one of the most successful long-term records in the investment business.
